ARTREK - Melbourne Street Art Walking Tours has now ceased operations
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we wish to announce that ARTREK will be ceasing operations effective 13 November, 2013.
I, the founder of ARTREK, would like to thank all those who have supported the venture, including the many people that have given me such positive feedback. It has been great fun bringing the amazing street art in Melbourne to life for those that have an interest in the art beyond merely wandering around looking at it. To be able to give it historical context and provide information about the techniques and the artists behind the works has been a pleasure for me. From the feedback I have received, I am sure that the interest in Melbourne’s fantastic laneways, and the imaginative images overtaking them, will continue to keep Melbourne at the forefront of the street art scene.
